Air Travel
All of the major airlines have scheduled flights to Spain’s main airports in Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN), and many offer direct flights to Alicante (ALC) which is the closest airport to the apartment in Santa Pola. A large number of airlines also offer budget and charter flights to Spain, including many that fly direct to the two closest local airports, Alicante Airport (ALC) and Murcia’s San Xavier Airport (MJV).
Car hire, taxi and bus services are available at all of the airports. By car, it will take approximately 6 hours to drive from Barcelona to Santa Pola; 4 hours from Madrid to Santa Pola; 45 minutes from Murcia Airport to Santa Pola and 10 minutes from Alicante Airport (El Altet) to Santa Pola.
Airport pick-up and drop-off (Alicante/Murcia) to/from the apartment or rental car reservations can be arranged by special request when booking the apartment.
